1/19/2009

Hurrah! This really seems to be working. It's almost like a dream! I
have now made it down to 156 pounds and 31 inches at the waist. Wahoo!
I am still less hungry. In fact, after eating lunch, I don't really get
started on hungry until about 4pm.

I did wait a bit too late to eat this evening, though, as I didn't make
it home until after 7 and didn't eat until just after 8 pm. That was
good, though, and since I ate slow, I was able to stop after 1.5
sausages, instead of eating the other 1.5 that were left. Slow food is
definitely better!

I didn't get to do the bowflex today due to the snow that was on the
ground. Tomorrow I will try to do the first part and maybe even the
second, so I can get at least one round in this week. Tomorrow evening I
should walk the treadmill. I'll see if I can leave the documents until
then and get in some good practice.

I have also almost finished the sweatshirts for Mom and Dad and have to
just plan y assault on Tara's. The problem is, the birches are usually
done in white and black and her shirts are in dark purple. I may have
to go to Michael's since the supplies were limited at AC Moore, and try
for some silver or gray paint to do the branches for the trees. Kind of
make them ghost trees.

No mail today--holiday. None of the various things I ordered came in,
either.

Food: 2 eggs, fried in butter; large salad with lettuce, sliced chicken
(5 oz), feta cheese and bacon dressing; 2 string cheese; 1.5 chicken
sausage, grilled.

Drink: Less than I should have had. About 2.5 glasses water; 1 silk
road tea with 3 splenda and heavy cream; 1 red currant green tea; 1
raspberry white tea (I really like this one); 1 hot water with lemon; 1
haute chocolate tea (roobios).

Exercise: about 1 hour (slightly more) shoveling snow.

Chew slowly and no sweetener! Exercise! That seems to be the magic
formula.
