when I'm really tired. Of course, during the week I may still have more
time in the evening than I do in the morning, given my work schedule.
Yesterday I worked, so I didn't do karate. I saw just 10 patients and
ran over, which seems to be the norm with the new upgrade. At least I'm
not as slow as I was when we first started with the EMR. It still is
frustrating. I have leftover work I haven't done yet, namely the labs.
It's so annoying to do the letters to patients and extraordinarily time
consuming.
I was able to get some exercise in before work, though, so that's good.
I also had a nap in the afternoon after lying down with Doug, plus
sleeping well last night, so I'm almost too rested right now.
Food: 2 eggs fried in butter; egg salad made with 3 eggs and Hellman's
mayonnaise with some flavorings (working on perfecting that recipe); 1
relative large piece garlic cheddar; Shorty's ceasar salad with no
croûtons (still had to pick some out), pine nuts and blackened chicken.
Drink: a couple of glasses of water, 1 silk road tea with 3 splenda and
heavy cream; 1 cranberry pomegranate green tea; 1 cup hot water with
lemon; 1 pina colada herbal tea (not sweet); 1 Aztec chocolate herbal
tea; 1 other tea that I can't remember at work, no sweetener; 1
Blueberry bliss roobios tea.
Exercise: treadmill for about 42 minutes with some sprints, over 2
miles (see spreadsheet); some light 7 pound weights on arms at work;
walking around stores a little; some stretches in the evening while
watching television.
I think the stretches while watching television are a good idea and may
also want to consider some light rowing on the bowflex, The former is
quiet and shouldn't disturb Doug that much, but the latter may have some
noise issues. For today, I will have to shovel some, and will start
with painting sweatshirts. I think I've been delaying on that out of
insecurity and need to gather up my courage. I will not fail! And the
results will be good.
