I think I already blogged Friday, though I suppose I should check to see if that's the case. Once again, I went to bed without posting, but since it's the weekend, it's easy to do it the next day. I have to stop reading anyway, and get to packing and all the other stuff I'm planning on doing, so I might as well start with the blog.
Yesterday I did karate for 4 hours. It was fun, but I think I need to work on getting more enjoyment and never being crabby. If I'm going to just not cooperate when the group runs away with me, then I'll need to do it silently. I really need to get more practice and wish there was enough space at home to do that.
I also cleaned out my car and moved stuff to Eric's car, including the Pro-clip Iphone holder. I need to get in there today and screw the plate on tighter, since it vibrates. I doubt it's going to fall apart, but I still would like to get it in tighter so Doug and Eric don't whine about it. The car attachment was unusable with the bolts that kept it in place in the Subaru, and I didn't know where Doug might have put the screws that could have come with it. So I had to buy wood screws to do it. It was a bitch screwing them in, too, and I have likely stripped the heads because the screwdriver kept slipping.
Maybe I can find Doug's electric screw driver and give that a whirl.
I also bought a Utili-tea water heating pot that allows me to adjust the temperature of the water for the tea. I find a combination of that and pulling the leaves out of the water early keeps the green tea I'm making a lot less bitter. That can be important if you're drinking something without sugar. Sour I don't mind so much, but bitter takes some getting used to.
I also laid out Tara's sweatshirts to pain, and I guess the first thing I need to do when I'm done this post is to start with the painting process. I want to get Mom's done at the same time. After I start with the branches, I'm going to go upstairs and strip the bed to wash the sheets and start the laundry. Oh yeah, and before the sweatshirts, I need to wash the 2 dishes down here and take my supplements. Here's the list for today:
Take CD's out of the subaru.
Paint sweatshirts.
Pack for Big Sky.
Consider shopping late in the afternoon to get Doug mittens for Big Sky.
Trader Joe's for Doug Stromboli and stuff, a large tenderloin roast (if still there).
Go through enough paper to find the rest of the receipts for the car. This will include looking through the store receipts since August 2006, when I got the car.
Start going through the mail and sequestering the stuff for taxes.
Yesterday's totals:
Food: 2 eggs fried in butter; 1 large slice garlic cheddar cheese; 3 fried chicken wings (slight flour coating; 1/2 serving moo shi shrimp with added ginger slices (no flour used this time).
Drink: 1 silk road tea with 3 splenda and heavy cream; 1 mango green tea (left leaves in--big mistake); 1 sweet fruit garden tea; several little cups of Chinese tea at Lilac Blossom; about a bottle of water.
Exercise: 4 hours of karate.
