3/1/2009

I am trying really hard to not anticipate too much about weigh in tomorrow. I am afraid I won't have lost anything and all my grandiose plans for adding some fruit and possibly a breakfast with egg on toast or some cereal will be for naught. It's particularly difficult due to the exercise thing.

Yes, I have again managed to get almost no exercise in on an entire day off. I thought I'd have time this morning, but then it was suddenly a lot later than I expected and we had to go off to Coraline. I had hoped to do it this evening, but Doug just won't allow it without having a cow. He doesn't have to lift a finger, but he can't "relax" if I'm exercising in the same room. So he likes to have me sit there like a fucking mushroom on a log brainlessly staring at the damn television with him. You know, I'm just not going to go there. If he won't let me exercise in the room with him, I'll just have to spend at least part of the evening elsewhere.

Whew. Glad that's off my chest.

Eating went better today than exercising did. I'm still having reasonable bowel movements, no gas, and not hungry all the time, so it seems to be working. I am planning now on keeping at least one meal a day a salad, and trying to limit the cooked things I eat. Here's the list:

Food: 2 jumbo eggs scrambled with sliced chicken, herbs, mushrooms (about 2) and cheese; grilled salmon with crisp stirfried spicy vegetables at Cafe Momo; 3 pieces cheese, fried; medium Ceasar salad with just romaine lettuce.

Drink: 1 Silk Road tea with 3 splenda and cream; 2 cups Cafe Momo spiced tea, plain; 1 cup lychee tea; water; 1 club soda with lime; 1 hot water with lemon.

Exercise: aforementioned 15 minutes of iGallop.

Tomorrow morning I hope to be up bright and early to shovel snow. I expect to treadmill/scanned documents in the evening. On Tuesday, I will do the entire bowflex routine in the morning, and on Wednesday, I will go skiing, with or without someone to ski with. We will hopefully get enough snow to make up for the incredible defrosting and desnowing that went on on Friday.
