Wow. The last time I posted was the 8th. That means I've missed 3 days of posting, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Didn't exercise Tuesday, and only did so much on Sunday. Today I did bowflex and karate, so at least I did some. I will see if I can get my carcass out of bed tomorrow and do 20 minutes on the treadmill, but it will not be too likely. Alternatively, I could at least do 15 on the iGallop, but I'll see. At least the iGallop won't mean I have to shower a lot before going to work, and then I can treadmill in the evening, providing I get out soon enough.
I have a problem with coming home from work and being hungry. Then I eat, and then it's late, and then I no longer have any interest in treadmill, or any desire to keep myself up longer to do it. Argh. I guess I will really, truly, have to try to get out of work by around 5:30pm so I can go straight home and do the treadmill then. No more of this waiting around work to get my work done.
I am hoping to arrive to work exactly on time tomorrow. Actually, early would be better, which means it should be the iGallop tomorrow. If I get in on time, I can hopefully run on time. As far as I know, I'm not supposed to meet with anyone at noon (big relief that), so I can take the time to finish my patients, finish my notes, eat, and do a few other of the paperwork things so I can have some out of the way before I leave for the day.
I need to also be very efficient with my notes. Not sure how to do that the best, but I will work on it if I can. I think it's very important to get them done while the patient is there, because otherwise I forget stuff.
So, here are todays totals:
Food: 1 egg fried in butter; 2 ounces of fresh ricotta with 1/2 cup blackberries; You You spicy salad with salmon; 1 cup miso soup (You You); 2 slices cheese, fried; 1 chicken apple sausage, grilled; 1/2 cup sauteed asparagus; 1/2 cup yogurt.
Drink: 1 silk road tea with 3 splenda and heavy cream; 1 Teacart spice tea; 1 melon tea; 1 large hot water with small slice lemon; 2 small soda water with lime juice; water.
Exercise: 1.5 hours of karate; Bowflex 1&2.
I have also started planning my NYC trip to visit Marc, which will take place at the end of April. I told him--no Max Brenners! No great dessert places!! It will just be too hard. We will need to go to places with great meals and skip some of the others.
I'm on the look-out to make sure my appetite doesn't trip me up. I've found myself eating a lot of peanuts at work--about 1 to 1 1/2 ounces per day when I'm there. I tried eating cheese curds instead, but still needed the peanuts, so now I just eat the peanuts. When I weighed myself on Monday, I hadn't lost any further weight. I will have to see what happens now that I've added some blackberries into my diet, along with a bit more yogurt and some ricotta. My bowels continue fine on the lower amounts of magnesium, so I guess I'm staying out of trouble there. Right now I'm on a home made Ceasar salad kick again, also a lot of fun.
Well, time to get ready and shower, and turn off computers. Hopefully will do more tomorrow.
