Need Help Again

My weight has gone up again, despite trying to follow the diet.  I have stopped logging food on MyFitnessPal, which is probably part of the problem.  It just seems to be so difficult to do when I make recipes and am not fully sure of the calorie content.  Or go to restaurants.

I have recently been reading and watching informational videos about the merits of periodic fasting and am trying to figure out how to work this into my plan.  I'm on vacation at the moment, and there doesn't seem to be much of a plan beyond "survive the moment," but starting next week, I want to be ready to implement.

For now, I am not counting calories, and my weight is going up. I am skiing every day and very active, so most of the damage is salt related.  I am making sure to avoid gluten and to have some berries and some greens every day, and to have kombucha daily to get the probiotics, but otherwise I am making food mistakes like ordering nachos.  Holy crap, that was a pile of stuff!  It was enough as an appetizer (or meal) for a party of 4, and it was only a half order!  It's a wonder all the people who eat at The Foggy Goggle don't drop dead of heart attacks as they head down the stairs to go back to skiing.

Skipped snacking this afternoon, but will have blueberries and a cookie tonight.  Had salad and 3 pieces of pizza for dinner, but there was the nachos and the other salad for lunch.  Again, holy crap.

I'm thinking to start cutting back on Saturday.  I want to get the ingredients to make a blender full of smoothie, and just have that for breakfast, lunch, and snack or so.  Then a reasonable supper.

For Sunday, I want to avoid too much food.  I am thinking a longer gap without eating would go well on Sunday, so I could have just breakfast, then supper.

After that, it's back to work.  I am going to try having just eggs for breakfast (2 boiled), along with tea, then some sort of fish and salad for lunch.  I will bring crudite, and have that around 5 pm as part of supper, then a light supper with maybe berries and yogurt.  Hmm.  Will need to think this through.

Similar stuff on Wednesday.

Depending on the weather, I would like to see if I can go skiing with Dad on Wednesday, so I would need to bring some sort of soup and protein.  Breakfast I'd also like to try as just the eggs.

What I would like to do is figure out where to put the fast, and when to run it.  I need to do it some day where it won't interfere with my work, or with my exercise, so I will mess around with seeing how much I can do when fasting in the meantime.  I also need to work out how frequently I will need to do this.  Much thought, some trial and error.

Also, decreased colon cancer risk specifically in pescovegetarians.  Need to think about that as well.
