I am now discovering how this blog has helped by reading Overcoming Overeating, or whatever the name of this book is. Apparently, planned eating is very helpful. I certainly found it worked well for less wasteful grocery shopping before Mom got so sick. Sadly, it was a habit I haven't managed to re-establish yet, probably because it was so new when I had to deviate from it.
Let me see. Yesterday. Here's the totals:
Exercise: Zumba Cardio work-out. not much else.
Food: 2 ginger tea with half and half and splenda, bowl of maple pecan cereal (low carb) with a few sliced almonds and blackberries/raspberries, roasted vegetables with a dab extra butter, pureed cauliflower, blackberries and raspberries, 1 banana, 1.5 bowls ginger squash soup, squid chili paste, and coconut custard in buttercup squash for dessert. Lots of fruits and veggies, but low on protein.
Today has had its ups and downs as well. Here's what I've had: blackberries and raspberries with sliced almonds and yogurt, 1 boiled egg, 1 chicken apple sausage, 2 overcooked chicken strips with padang, 1 small bowl ginger squash soup, 1 cup leftover pureed cauliflower, 1/2 bottle kombucha, more raspberries and blackberries. Tonight I plan to have Thai minced herbed chicken, small salad, and miso soup. That will be the food portion of the evening.
Exercise today was 4 hours of karate, which I probably exercised maybe a third of, and some walking around stores.
